2026 HORNETS FALL PLAYER DEVELOPMENT SESSIONS
Lacrosse Families:
Calgary Hornets Lacrosse Association is excited to continue our player development clinics to allow players more opportunities to get out on the floor and improve their lacrosse skills, knowledge and execution.
U9 - We have set aside two sessions this fall for this age group. Players will work on specific skill development which are designed for this age group.
INTERMEDIATE (U11 - U17) - Intermediate clinics will have a themed focus targeting specific skill development which are designed for players that are still developing their stick skills with a focus on passing, shooting, cradling, dodging etc. and to be able to pass and catch, while in motion - consistently.
ADVANCED (U11 - U17) - Advanced clinics are designed for players that played on an "A" team in 2026 or have a coach reference indicating it is an appropriate group for your player.
Sessions will run from September 13 - December 13, 2026. All sessions are at Calgary Soccer Centre, 7000 - 48 Street SE.
Coaches (Hornets) reserve the right to move players who are registered in the wrong session.
Clinics can be booked individually to allow families to be able to attend what works with their schedule. COST: $15 / player per session. When registering in RAMP you will register your player in the level they are played in the 2026 Season. REGISTRATION will open in RAMP on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2.
Goalies can also sign up for free to attend runner sessions. Goalies should try to target an appropriate skill group. U9 should attend the U9 sessions, U11 and U13 goalies should target Intermediate clinics while U15 and U17 goalies should sign up for Advanced clinics. To sign up as a goalie for the runner clinics please contact the Coach Director at coachdirector@hornetslacrosse.com. This will ensure that we do not have too many goalies for any one session and that opportunities are distributed as equally as possible.
TO REGISTER REGISTRATION OPENS WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2 SHOWING DATES FOR SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER. DATES FOR NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER WILL BE ADDED TO THE REGISTRATION SYSTEM BETWEEN NOW AND SEPTEMBER 7.
