HORNETS VOLUNTEER ROLES AND POINTS
(PLEASE REVIEW VOLUNTEERING POLICY)
To encourage all Club Members to become actively involved in the operation and success of the Calgary Hornets Lacrosse Association by way of volunteering their time at the Club and/or Team levels (during the season ad/or in the offseason).
CLUB JOB / TEAM JOB (PER PLAYER):
a) U7 Division -- ONLY TEAM JOB REQUIRED for this division. In order for a member to move through the volunteering portion of the registration, (other than those that chose Head Coach, Assistant Coach or Manager) you will be able to choose -- "U7 TEAM JOBS".
b) U9 Division -- ONLY TEAM JOB REQUIRED for this division. In order for a member to move through the volunteering portion of the registration, (other than nthose that chose Head Coach, Assistant Coach, or Manager) you will be able to choose -- U9 TEAM JOBS".
c) U11 - U17 Divisions -- A CLUB JOB AND TEAM JOB IS REQUIRED TO BE CHOSEN AT TIME OF REGISTRATION FOR THESE DIVISIONS. There will be numerous jobs to choose from to be completed during the season or in the off-season. There will be no team jobs to choose from at the time of registration aside from Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Manager, Volunteer Coordinator and Trainer.
TOTAL POINTS VALUE REQUIRED:
U7 Team Jobs - all team jobs have been given 100 point value. All families are encouraged and asked to do some volunteering at the team level.
U9 Team Jobs - minimum of 200 points / Player ($200 Bond / Player)
U11 - U17 Club job and team job required - minimum of 300 points / Player ($500 BOND/Player).
** FAMILY MAXIMUM IS 400 POINTS
PLEASE NOTE FOR ALL DIVISIONS - once teams are set you will be required to sign-up and complete a team job.
VOLUNTEERING POINTS AND NON-VOLUNTEERING BOND:

If you choose not to volunteer you can choose this option during the registration process and the required Bond will be added to your registration fees associated with the level of the player being registered.
