Respect in Sport for Parents Edition - This is new in 2024 and a requirement before you can register your player for the season.
Respect in Sport for Parents:
(a) in all divisions of lacrosse, one parent of every registered player must have a current certification of the CDLA Respect in Sport Parent Edition prior to registration. Certification is valid for four (4) years;
(b) players failing to have a parent certified with the Respect in Sport Parent certification will be ineligible to play until certification has been achieved.
(c) the Head Coach may be suspended pending a discipline hearing should he/she play a player whose parent has not achieved the CDLA Respect in Sport Parent certification.
(d) recertification may be required as a result of disciplinary measures.
