The U9 Program is an in-house league.

For the 2023 Season U9 birth years are 2016, 2015.

Possible dates for practices and games for 8U could be rotating Tuesdays/Wednesdays (depending on our team numbers) from 6 - 7 pm or 7 - 8 pm and Saturdays (10 am start in most circumstances).

Season Start and End Dates:  Approximately mid-April to end of June and ends with a city-wide festival with play against other clubs.

Location:  Huntington Hills Arena or Mount Pleasant Arena

Inter-Club Games:    We may hold inter-club games with other clubs and these would only take place on Saturdays.

8U is for players aged 7 and 8 (as at December 31 of current year).

Friend Request:  We do accept friend requests (one player request per player) in this division.  The request must be reciprocal (both families agree to the request).  Please mention this request in the comment section of the questionnaire at time of registration.  We will do our best to accommodate the friend requests received, but in the event we obtain too many, it will be done on a case-by-case basis.

The purpose of the U9 Program is to introduce, emphasize and develop the fundamental skills of the game of lacrosse.  The focus of the practices as well as games is to promote an environment that encourages participation, skill development and above all else an enjoyment of the game of lacrosse.
At the end of the season (early July), a special "U9/U11 Tournament" is held where teams have an opportunity to attend to play other U9 teams in Alberta in a fun atmosphere.
